Hi Rod, Thanks for the email checking to see if I received the engine yet. I did and spent time over the weekend installing it into the kombi. I've setup the carbys and I'm glad you talked me out of the bigger IDF's as the 40mm's are perfect and it drives like a dream, smooth and no flat spots. I have a little bit of trouble synchronising the linkage but a friend of mine helped me out and they are now 100%. Thanks again Rod.

Shanti from the South Coast of NSW contacted me to build a complete turnkey dyno tuned engine for her kombi restoration. She decided on an RPR Signature Turnkey 2276 cc engine that was to be fitted into her 1975 bay window that was in for a complete rebuild. The idea was that she wanted a 100% brand new engine that would be suitable for her camper that she could load up and go away without the worry of a breakdown. The engine has a Engle W110 camshaft, CNC round port heads, Magnaspark ignition (this was fitted after the engine was dyno tuned), a set of my RPR 40 mm IDF carbs and 8.7 compression. The engine is supplied with the external oil cooler, filter and temperature gauge to make it all reliable. The engine made 102.2HP at the wheel which equates to almost 130HP at the engine with almost 180ft/lb's of torque.

Elizabeth and Sue wanted a new engine for their split window restoration and after detailing the available options, they decided on an RPR Turnkey dyno tuned 2276 cc engine that produced 104 HP at the rear wheels (130HP at the engine) with a little over 180 ft./lb's of torque. They wanted something that would be fun to drive and be reliable. The engine is fitted with some CNC ported heads, Engle W110 cam, Magnaspark ignition kit, RPR 40 mm IDF carbs and is fitted with a new RPR ceramic coated exhaust system and HD heater boxes. The compression is set at 8.7:1 and the engine is supplied with the external oil filter, external oil cooler and was shipped to them and installed direct into their Kombi.
