Crankshaft Oil Slinger
This brand new Factory German oil slinger is a good replacement for any bent, damaged or missing units.
This steel slinger must be installed weather you are using a sand seal or the factory reversed thread crankshaft pulley.
This is the big disc that slips on the crank, just inside the nose of the case.
It prevents oil from the #4 main bearing from overwhelming the crank pulley, keeping oil inside the engine case.
This is a must and if not in place will allow oil to blow out behind the pulley.
