Metalúrgica Schadek Ltda. is a Brazilian company that was established in 1965 to serve the automobile industry by providing pressure-cast parts in alloys such as aluminum, magnesium and zamak, which were designed and produced on demand based on drawings or samples provided by the customers.
Developing their own expertise and know-how, in 1972 Metalúrgica Schadek started to manufacture cylinders for two- and four-stroke small engines used in motorcycles, chainsaws, lawn mowers, atomizers, etc. Produced from aluminum alloys under high/low pressures or by gravity, with the electro-deposition of hard chromium applied directly on the aluminum, these cylinders use the same technology as that of aircraft cylinders, and made Metalúrgica Schadek a pioneer in this manufacturing process.
