For Type 2 1961 thru 1967 with Synchromesh transmission.

Transmission hockey stick shift lever's are located in the transmission nose cone and connect to the shift rod coupler.

Also used on 1960 and earlier Type 1 Bugs when installing a 1961 thru 1967 Synchromesh transmission.
