Rebuilt Transmission - Type 1 Swing Axle

These dual side cover Swing Axle transmissions are fully rebuilt with all new bearings,  syncro rings, gaskets and other ancillary parts.

These utilise the stock 4.125 ring and pinion unit with the standard gearing that will suit all Type 1, early Type 2 and Type 3 vehicles.

These transmissions are supplied without axles and tubes but with the gaskets needed to mount the axle tubes.

Options available of this trans are as follows:

• Change ring and pinion ratio
• Change gear ratio's
• Add 4 spider gear differential ( Supa diff )
• Add limited slip differential
• Add heavy duty side covers
• Add weld 3rd/4th gear hubs
• Add adapter nose cone for different models
• Add adapter flanges for larger CV joints
