All of our rods are supplied with stronger 3/8" bolts instead of 5/16" bolts.

All of our SCAT rods are machine finished and balanced at SCAT and feature:

• Computerized machining processes which hold aerospace type extremely close tolerances
• Centre-to-centre length +/- .001"
• Big end barrel/bell mouth/taper +/- .0002"
• Big end bore +/- .0002"
• Little end bore +/- .0002"
• Balanced end-for-end and packaged into sets of 4 +/- 1 gram
• SCAT 4340 high nickel & chrome content material insures the highest tensile strength and fatigue strength from the multi-step heat treating processes
• Rods are shot peened
• X-Rayed, Sonic tested and Magnafluxed

ALL SCAT RODS ARE PRECISION HONED ON THE LATEST SUNNEN EQUIPMENT WITH DIAMOND TOOLING, TEMPERATURE CONTROLLED COOLING AND MICRO PROCESSORS FOR EXACTING SIZES
